Reversals Version 1.20 is Out

The version 1.20 of Reversals is now available. In these last 2 updates, there was a general improvement on reversals success rate, while the least successful reversals were removed. The detection algorithms were also improved, and the lower sensitivities are now showing more reversals than before. There were also some important bug fixes along the way.
Altogether, Reversals 1.20 is now a more robust indicator than before, so if you don’t own it, you can check this page to try a free demo of the indicator.
If you already own it, make sure to update it in the Terminal > Market > Applications (while logged in the MQL5 account), or visit its page here and click ‘Buy’ while logged in (it won’t spend anything as you already own it, and it’ll download to Metatrader automatically).

In a situation where the reversal arrow signal ‘conflicts’ with another signal used, e,g, VSA strong or weak signal etc. which should be given higher priority ? Example you have down reversal arrow then next bar strong demand signal appears or dynamic trend turns up or background becomes strong etc.

What is the optimal way to set the sensitivity level of the reversal indicator ?
Does a higher rating score mean higher reliability so does that mean the sensitivity should be set with the highest obtained rating score level
even if say that’s obtained when sensitivity is at 1 ?

Hi there,
In such cases I recommend looking at the background. If background is weak for example, give more priority to the weak VSA signal or weak Reversal.

To set the sensitivity I recommend zooming out the chart and check visually the best one. I also check the rating to see if it’s above the minimum value in the table, but since it goes way back until the bar no. 1 in history, I give more weight to what’s been happening recently.

Why does my chart show the sensitivity box 2 times, each with different rating ?
The AT VSA chart does not show completely in some currency pairs i.e. only background on top & dynamic trend shown but the volume bars below all not there ?! Even exiting & restarting the MT4 platform does not restore everything back to normal, has the software been ‘corrupted’ & requires re-installation ?

That might be an issue with older Metatrader builds, please send me this report by email so I can help you. About Reversals, the update to fix the bug when loading it in a template is already submitted, it should be available within the next couple days.
